The Rough Rider Backwoods Hawkbill from the Backwoods Bushcrafter series is a supremely useable folding pocket knife. The hawkbill pruning blade is equally at home in the garden or garage, shed or workshop, with the curve of the blade being great at pull-cuts, on rope or sheet material.
This model from Rough Rider is, like so many of their pieces, extremely well priced, and a delight to hold in the hand. When folded, this knife is pleasingly wide, filling the palm of your hand. The deep, black-coated 440A blade is easily grasped to open, and is provided with a nail-nick, just behind the false curved top edge.
The bone scales are copper-pinned to the body of the knife, with shiny copper coloured bolsters setting the knife off to great effect.
As an everyday user, there’s a place in your life for this little beauty.
